Opened some packs of Japanese gym 2 I had lying around and pulled one of the corrected versions. Didn’t even really know anything about them, assuming it was a later print run after the english/international release? Anyone able to shed any light?
From what I know, it was corrected very late into the release. I believe it would have had a much larger rarity if there was a koga theme deck released in Japanese featuring the real error card, making there be much more copies vs the smaller run corrected version. Rusty I believe is one of the few to sell a good amount of them, I remember seeing some up on his eBay awhile back.
I think there have been a couple posts about this on this forum, its a very unknown item that actually had a correction in Japanese, and not just a correction to english.
Interesting note: PSA has this card actually listed as only 1 graded, a POP 1 PSA 10, and instead of corrected, they used the word “revised”, a word that is more commonly used in MTG vs Pokemon being corrected, or at least thats how it seems to me.
I actually just sold one of these cards in NM Condition for $25.00. Granted, it sat on eBay for a really long time before I finally sold it.
