I recently picked up a ultra shiny mew two from ebay and have some doubts about its authenticity. The card is completely smooth and lacks a textural feel like my other full arts. Is this characteristic of Japanese cards or could this be a fake?
Is it your first Japanese full art? The Japanese full arts have a different feel to them and are less textured than the English counter parts. I personally like them more.

It depends which set is it from so it would help to know which card it is as there are some Full Art cards in both Japanese and English that don’t have texture.

Yeah, need photos.
But I am sure some of the recent reverse holos and new scream promos are very smooth. They have definitely used a different style of card / foil in the recent set.
I think the ssr are not as super textured from memory. The older fa were.
