After looking at my 9 2019 Event organizer packs with a flashlight (yes very bad of me)
I can confirm that 8 of my 9 packs contain cards from 2020.
This is a bummer considering I have picked them up here and there for the past 2 years along with 2020 packs.
I can also confirm that there is no difference in text between the packs but there is a very slight color difference. It is clearer to see in person but here is a photo.
The pack on top has a slightly darker forest green text. This is a true 2019 pack. All of the 8 2019 (2020 cards) packs are more of an emerald green text.

Okay time to summon an old thread again…
With the release of SV5 in January 2024, TPC suddenly decided to release an updated Trainer’s Pack. The new pack keeps 5 cards from the previous pack and replaced the remaining 4 cards with new cards:

New pack just dropped!
Looks like there are only 8 different cards in this release.
I’ll update the original post soon with last years info from @rabby250
Edit: I also see some of the images are dead, I’ll replace those as well.
