AndAShort little update: been busy with driving around for all the league challenges these weeks & RightNow preparing for the first big cup- gotta hit atleast Top8 since I can only play 2 this first season so hopefully all goes well. Got some other great finishes on the league challenges last week and met some really random decks- the AntiGXMeta is really alive and kickin’here in the Netherlands
BestFuckup deck I saw [and couldn’t beat with RayGX] was some random deck with counterEnergies, Steelix/onix lines, CelebiPrism, Hoopas, shitload of energyDenial, Lusamines & 4copies of Stevens resolve next to some utter random tech’s [think articunoGX etc.]- Praying that people give up on those stallDecks in bigger tournaments, but if this trend sees through i might play a sameType deck for the first regionals…
Really hope I’ll just destroy the competition tomorrow with Ray, dont wanna give up on my favourite dragon
Besides that also anCollectionupdate- recieved my first PSAgraded cards from SMpratte so hope to post pictures soon together with my PTCGresults next week! - &really happy to say that I finally own my first E3/sample Expedition card;

Sidenote2; Do you guys know what kinda search term to use on eBay for these things? Some call 'm sample cards, but also hearing “E3” a lot… Anyone here has a reliable “set name” or something like that?
Well… late update but had a realll shitty week. Got crushed at the first cup this season (went 4-2-0, bricked top8) by antiGXshrineOfPunishmentShit decks. Had a real busy working’week after that and as soon as I went to leave for the second cup this saturdaymorning I got the message that one of my best friends in life got killed by a car accident.
Kinda realized it saturdaymorning already since it was the first time in a year she din’t come home to eat her dinner/treats she gets at night. Went for a walk saturdaymorning as soon as i noticed she didnt touch her food and couldnt find her anywhere so sent a few messages to people/contacts in my town. Wanted to leave for the LeagueCup and at that moment a lady from my local PoGo group called to tell me she found her on the side of the road chrushed by a car late fridaynight. Needless to say i did not go to that cup, just went home and spent the day there. She had a real good life, I loved her to bits and I’m gonna miss her a shitload.
Sorry for the not really PokemonTcgSomething relatedstuff but had to get it off my chest somehow, so wrote it up.
To get back to the topic, will destroy the Regionals in Germany this weekend in her honour. At least… if I can figure out someway to kill the buzzwole/shrine/antiGX/garb decks somehow. Gotta get on with life, no matter how hard it gets.
At least theres small lights like this that keep me going; already had the zapdos & moltres in PSA10, and got my own Articuno graded with @smpratte to hit the trip 10’s of my favorite artwork honoured to have been part of his last gradingService bunch, top quality stuff!
A few years ago a totally exhausted cat showed up in our garden, so we gave her some food. Long story short, over the course of a few days she brought her six little kittens to us. One we gave away to a family. Two disappeared somehow and were never seen again. Three of the kittens and finally their mother were all killed by cars within two years. It hurts like hell, this I know. That’s probably still nothing compared to losing a close human friend… still I feel you man. All I can say is, life still goes on. Kinda has to. If you’re stuck in shit up to the neck, you better keep your head up (may sound better in German)

Damnn I’m bad at updating this; think I might just make one big [quality] update every two weeks or so, since realLife is getting to busy; also getting in the way of my PTCG carrier also As mentioned I went to the regional in Germany- overall a great expiernce once again, but I got destroyed in the first day going 5-2-2 (needed 19 points for day 2, so close…) Thank God we had some great weather cause my driving buddies actually made day 2, with one of’m getting into the top 8 also with a Steelix/Hoopa mill deck (and fullOn Sylveon actually winning the whole thing). I went with VikaRay, but meta had almost no Shrine/Garb/Buzz decks flowing around, so the mill decks were a wise choice. [btway; ended up home mondaynight @ 3AM, had to go to work 3 hours later]

Anywayy; Got my ticket booked for the special event in france (2-3 November), really psyched about that one. Got a non-pokemon buddy with me just for funs and a weekend in France, gonna be my first trip without other pokeBuddies to guide me; reallly hope we (and the car) will survive this trip-
Also really got to get some points now / atleast day2 there or I might drop the whole idea of trying to get my Worlds invite; the trips are starting to add up in costs and DC [locationWorldsNextYear] doesn’t seem like a “must see place” and nice holiday location for me…
Welp; one more WorkingWeek & then I have a week of vacation, some time to figure out the metaDecks & think about how much time I want to invest in the TCG or if I would rather switch that time/energy/money towards the collecting side of Pokémon.
Enough about the TCG;lets dive into the collectingPart. Since I had my Sunday in Germany ‘off’ I had some time to make some awesome trades for the binder collection- these Regionals are like drugs for the serious collectors.
Might start off with a reverseHolo teamRocketReturns binder set now that my E-series are completed; adore the badass Dark ‘look’ on these cards- traded my first 10cards
Welp, there we go again for my once-a-month big update; it took me a long time but it’s an interesting one!
First off; the TCG cardgame side- can be reallyyy fast about that one. Went with a non-pokemon buddy of mine to France for the special event, played my first round against the one&onlyGardy deck out there, got wrecked. 'Cause we finished so fast our decks were “randomly” selected for a deckcheck: turned out some of my cards were a bit to much bent, recieved a gameLoss for that. Said ‘fuckIt’ after that and went to explore Lille/France with my buddy: had an awesome time, 10/10 would recommend!
On the non-TCG collectible side;
recieved my switchVersion of pokemonGo eevee on friday & been playing for hours now! Love the fact that you can play the game with one controller, Also another plusside; catching Pokemon looked way more terrible then it actually is- in PokemonGo its pretty much impossible to throw an excellent throw, but had an streak of 7/8Excellents in a row with this game. It also replaces the catching mechanic in the “mainGames”; not a bad thing imo, fightingWild pokemon was brain-numbing sometimes. In this game you can actually avoid the wild encounters when you don’t want to get some easyXP+ThrowingFun. Place a nostalgiaBurst on that and you get why I already have 10InGameHours.
Don’t actually have that much time for the game; real busy work schedule RightNow, about to start up on a PokemonSelling account on EBay[+dutch Marketplace] and to top it off probably gonna make the biggest PTCGpurchase in my life…

I am probably gonna buy a 1stedBase boosterbox. Right now talking about a deal with the seller; I believe i could get it for a real nice amount, and the owner send me these pictures already. Still working out if it is a scam or not since he wants to make a deal worth around half the marketvalue. Seems desperate for money, and has no recources to sell on “bigger” sites. So I’m probably gonna sc down my last recources and drive up to Belgium for 4hours to pick up this item;
NVM, E4 saved my ass again and gave me proof that this was a fake box (check comment below this one)

In the mattera of the 1st Ed base box, I know there have been scams from a seller in Belgium in the past, from Genk, I believe. Better wait for someone more experienced with these boxes to tell you something about the authenticity.
EDIT: I can almost guarantee it’s fake by looking at the Blastoise side. The canon hole should be showing more, which it doesnt
EDIT 2: It’s fake, bottom coloured corners are too narrow. They don’t look like that in these boxes.
