Is it worth trying for a regrade?

hey gang! Couldn’t find an answer in the search so hopefully someone with more experience than I do can help answer this question!

if i have a bgs 9 with 2 x 9.5 subgrades and 2 x 9 subgrades, would it be worth it to ask for a regrade to try and get a bgs 9.5?

or would the only way to do this is to risk cracking it open and submitting it again?

It would be a waste of your time and money. If you want a 9.5, you could try to crack and resubmit.

If you want an “upgrade” value wise, you’re better off cracking it and trying for a PSA 9.

BGS 9 should crack and resub for PSA 10. There are so many success regrade stories already. Personally I’ve done it a few times.

If its for your collection i wouldnt bother. Its the same card at the end of the day regardless of label.

If not, sure why not!
