Great question, I hadn’t really thought about it, but every time I log into a website it sounds like ‘equisequis’ (two times the word for “X” in Spanish) in my head, the rest being silent.

I used to use “Plague” when playing in tourneys, so it would say “Hamhands069 was killed by Plague”. but then someone else took my name. I tried Bio Hazard, but it didn’t sit right for me, and then I started using Xileets. No one could pronounce it and it became an inside joke, so I kept it. Plus steelix was the coolest steel type… maybe still?..

As a finn i will continue to read them all exactly how they are written.
And regarding my username, i’m not sure how native english speakers tend to say it but i would guess a name starting with J can have some issues since it’s:
yo-pon-nes
Starting with yo, double-n in the middle and ending with nes as how you would say nest. I also don’t understand why so many people try to write it “japonnes” but i guess some people connect it with japanese?

I guess similar to crystal, but with the st being replaced with nd? So Krin-dahl?
Although I guess Cry ‘n’ dèl (the ‘n’ being &) is another option?
