Hey guys. So I was bummed when I missed out on a full Masaki PSA 9 set sold by PWCC for ~$513 early this past summer. I felt like this was undervalued.
Today I won an auction for Alakazam, Gengar, Golem and Machamp all PSA 9 for $400. I was the only bidder, which surprised me. I was willing to go up to 462 and was happy to pay the minimum bid.
How did I do on that? I feel like Gengar and Alakazam alone can go for a steep price.
Now I must hunt for an Omastar in PSA 9. I know there is a lot more value in a full PSA 9 set.
9s as is are only going for around $150. That with the fact that theyre 9s and on auction, doesn’t surprise me too much of the $100 each price tag you paid.
If you’d like an Omnastar, I’d be more than happy to let go one of my 9s
That sounds like I did pretty good then considering I also got $40 eBay bucks too. Forgot to mention that lol
I feel the Masaki cards are tough to find in high grades due to the notorious envelope bends.
I’d say you did well. The auction may have ended higher if the starting bid was $1. I’ve noticed that auctions with starting bids at or near the expected sale price don’t do well.
