Yeah those are from Ultra Ball leagues, non-English regions got Sada and Pikachu ex instead.
So what we know of the judge variants so far:
Language and Season | Event | Status |
---|---|---|
English 2022-23 | National Champions 2022-23 | Confirmed: Ultra Ball judge promo (first post in this thread) |
English 2022-23 | All other past tournaments until 2022-23 | Confirmed: no promo cards |
English 2023-24 | Tournaments in 2023-24 | TO BE CONFIRMED - mentioned but no photo evidence |
English 2024-25 | Premier Ball League 2024-25 | Confirmed: Fan Rotom judge promo (photo in the post below) |
English 2024-25 | Other leagues in 2024-25 | TO BE CONFIRMED |
Non-English 2023-24 | All past tournaments until 2023-24 | Confirmed: no judge variants |
Non-English 2024-25 | Premier Ball League 2024-25 | Confirmed: Tatsugiri judge promo (photo in this thread) |
Non-English 2024-25 | Other leagues in 2024-25 | TO BE CONFIRMED |
For non-English variants, Tatsugiri was also confirmed in Traditional Chinese so we could safely assume that Indonesia variant also exists.
However the Traditional Chinese image is more of an official image than a actual card photo, which is not found anywhere on the official website, therefore we are suspecting that the image was only revealed to certified judges eligible for receiving one.
Reward Program: At the beginning of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Asia Championship Series from Sept. 1, 2022, we will start a Rewards Program for Official Judges who have participated in tournaments and assisted the management and for Event Organizers who have organized competitions, where they could receive Original merchandise based on the number of times they’ve performed such activities. We plan to share the details with those who passed the Certification Exam.
If we can find a certified judge in Singapore, Malaysia or Philipines to check the exclusive contents, we will be able to confirm exactly which judge variants were distributed.
