I sell some of my cardboard in return to buy more cardboard. As for all of my cardboard, probably will downsize someday and keep my favorites.
I’ve considered it at times, although my collection isnt massive at all. Although, I often sell parts of my collection for bigger items. I feel like eventually I’ll narrow it down to only a few big items, haha
Honestly this is my same way of thinking.
Especially since I have some more rare obscure items in my collection. It’s like,
-
sell rare items I’ll have a hard time finding again, or
-
put aside extra money and save up for what I need
I am in the process of consolidating what I have. There are collection cards which are staying with me, cards to grade, binder cards and speculation purchases. The rest is surplus so can and will be sold as and when I get chance to list each week. I am also getting an updated wants list so I have a reference when purchasing pokemon tcg items. That way I can try stray as little as possible and gives a focus for collecting. short and long term spec cards and some fun buys to open new items I like will be as and when I see an opportunity.
Yes sold my 6 figure collection and very happy about it. Could buy it all back right now for half what I sold it for but instead put it on a down payment of a house.
Just build a house out of your bulk
Touché didn’t think of that, especially with lumber up!
Yes
I ditched some ugly modern cards that were stinkin’ up my binder. Will put the money towards buying some new cards.
