I think it gives me something to talk about with co workers if they’re interested in it or if they collect other things. One coworker collect sports cards and the other collects movie posters. Friends not so much but the collecting aspect has. I have a few friends who collect other things and we get to talk about our collections. I collect what I collect and Pokémon makes me happy so to be able to share that part about me with others is cool.

no. people cant seem to understand why would you spend even 100$ over a card let alone more. its up to them though. i really dont care what people say or think. it most certainly not deter me from keeping collecting

Most of my friends know that I’m into Pokemon and it is a talking point for a least a few of them. My wife is super supportive and while she just has a small collection she is always willing to help me go through cards as a thing to do together! My brother-in-law also started opening some packs a few years ago after talking to me and it’s become a tradition for us to open a few every Christmas when our families get together! So overall nothing too crazy, but it’s fun!
