Happy Thanksgiving! What do you do today? What are you thankful for?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I went on a nice bike ride this morning then came home to clean and prepare. Sadly my mom got sick and she couldnt make it. Had my brother and his wife over which is always a good time. I’m thankful for these memories with my family.

I’m thankful for Fate hinting and indirectly guiding me to return to Pokemon and Digimon TCG.

If I had not seen the newly-released modern Digimon JPN cards on Google search in early 2020 (“Gosh, so nostalgic, I wonder if Pokemon have the same…”), I would never return back to the rightful path and forever be a lost sheep.

But wish Fate had done a few years earlier like in 2016 or 2017…

Happy Thanksgiving! I don’t live in the US, but I have a good amount of family who moved down there over the years. My priest taught my community recently to try and be thankful everyday and make the most of life each day, it’s definitely the best way to be to appreciate life more I think.

Anyway, I have a great appreciation for all friends and people around the world. Without the US, I would never have the Pokemon collection I have today. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving with family & others :grinning:

Just finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on this Thanksgiving movie weekend. I forgot how incredible that film was. S-tier with the Goblet of Fire. Maybe better than the Goblet of Fire.

#6 is pretty good! My favorite HP movie is hard to pin. I love the innocence of the first 2 and they follow the books so closely. If you read and watched they are just perfect. After that its too much book info for one movie. I remember reading the 5th book and being annoyed , just like Harry agitated through out. Not my favorite. Plus I had waited 2 years for the story and kept waiting for Voldemort to show. 500 pages later… However. I really like the 5th Movie. It could be the favorite if I had to choose. It’s the coming of age transition. Everyone grows up, and steps closer to their destiny. I also love the depth of relationships in this movie.

Completely agree, book 5 is at least 300 pages too long. At a certain point it almost reads like a diary, mundane daily activities mixed in with teenage angst. And then the climax is barely a few pages!

Goblet of Fire however is not only my favorite HP book but one of my favorite books of all time. I’ve read it way more times than I’d like to admit.
