A lot may not know, but I am a pretty big Godzilla fan so I am pretty damn excited that there are some Godzilla themed cards coming to MTG. Pretty out of the blue, but not at all surprising considering how MTG does in Japan. I will post a link to all the reveals(only in Japanese so far) and post a couple of my favourites as photos.

Not as cool as the Pony cards they released last year with amazing original artwork. Still pretty cool though. That Corona Godzilla is a must have.

I’m late to the party, but I’m also a HUGE Godzilla fan and there are some updates worth noting.

2nd, this is, by my count, Godzilla’s third official TCG appearance. He was first featured in Battle Spirits, which had a short run in the West, but remains one of the longest running TCGs in Japan. Battle Spirits had 2 main toho collaboration booster sets, along with a number of promotional releases and a special card file (I think there was also a structure deck, but I’d have to check on that). If you’re looking for a more fulsome Godzilla TCG collecting experience, I’d start there.
His second TCG appearance was in Weiss Schwarz - which had a trial deck and extra booster set (basically a mini booster set) based on the animated movies currently on netflix.
