I am leaning towards no, simply because we should have seen them by now if they were a part of a print run. Chances are the box was made in Belgium or where ever the factory was, but the cards may have been recycled or printed in 1999. This is all just speculation. In short, there should be another example if a print runs worth of cards were printed.
He had at least 2 Deck A’s. One sold for $750 USD [super lucky purchase to whoever got it!!]. After I saw the listing and his feedback, I messaged the user to see if I could snap the other up. He put it up for a ‘buy it now’ of $2,000 USD and it sold within a couple of hours.
The user still does have a Misty’s Deck B for sale if anyone wants it.
Majority of the cards graded are in the Mint 9 or Gem Mint 10 category.
The population of both Mint / Gem Mint is 5 or under. The exception being [x16] Mint 9 Rattata’s.
Bank balance took a big hit for this near complete set. I still have to acquire 2 cards. One of them being the very expensive Non-Holo / Regular version Machamp.
Unsure if we’re talking about the same person, but I know that said person has a 9 and a 10. I will be purchasing the 9 and the last card [the fighting energy] when it comes back from PSA shortly
