I don’t think it’s a hot take to say that δ Delta Species Pokemon are one of the coolest concepts ever made in Pokemon. While it was basically the predecessor of terastalizing, the story of Holon being told through the cards and the art showing the pokemon were just like that instead of having some special temporary phenomenon occur; all of it is really really amazing and it’s one of the things I absolutely love about the TCG.
All of that certainly applies to this card; having a Feebas that’s just straight up on fire is amazing, that’s utterly fantastic. Not to mention the foil - ough the foil is perfect. Having just the Feebas being foil surrounded by the matte background and flames is so simple but so effective. So while it feels odd to do two perfect five star ratings in a row, how can I not with this one? It’s brilliant!”
