i’m gonna have to go with, in order, cotton candy, key chain, guy metapod 2, ugly magikarp, then pankcake fish. if i had to choose from first generation I would definitely choose the ghetto prostitute. Big Grabage and magnets are pretty cool though too.

I just don’t get “guy metapod 2”?

That is my exact experience! I remember Blastoise was the first to get to 100, and then Mewtwo. Blastoise would handle his own, but would sometimes faint on pokemon stadium, and mewtwo would always deal with whatever was left. I remember Mewtwo would sometimes beat all 3 pokemon, with that combination of Psychic, Recover, Tri attack/swift.

I always think about turning on my GB but always worry that the internal battery has stopped working at this point.

Unfortunately I don´t have the savefile with my old team anymore, I´d love to take on Round 2 of Pokemon Stadium sometime. It was already damn hard to complete everything in Round 1 (Gymleader Castle, all the Cups and Mewtwo Battle). I heard you can unlock Mew as rental Pokemon if you beat Round 2.

The internal battery of my Gen1 games is still working completely fine although I´ve played through them like 100 times already haha.

The battery of all my Gen2 games died a year or so ago though. I heard that the internal clock makes it run out way faster

I will have to boot up my old gameboy and hope it still has the save file! Is there a way to replace or preserve the red/blue internal battery?
