Wonder if this will bring more awareness and people into the hobby. I think Fanatics boast a 80 million userbase.

I’ve never heard of Fanatics, but I think this is the way of the future. Humans love entertainment and shopping, so why not combine the two?
Side note: I hate this, but I understand that my opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

Interesting article. I’ve not heard of Fanatics before, but apparently they bought Topps.
Feels like they just want money though they talk about “growing the community.”
Assuming they truly do grow the community, it’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Fanatics owns the rights to basically all the major sports leagues for cards and recently purchased Topps

For basically all merch. Tshirts, mugs, anything you want to buy on nhl.com, mlb.com, nba.com, nfl.com comes from them
