So I found this crystal charizard being sold locally but my friends told me they had a suspicion that it could be fake. Not too familiar with e reader cards so any info would really help!

Borders are way to big on the front, but that’s a very good fake.
Yeah that looks fake. The back doesn’t look like a card from WOTC. Looks like a new card back.
Borders on the back don’t appear in line with a real card. I would expect the bottom to be thicker on the back relative to the top.

Imo fake fake
Fake af, but this fake is good, inexperienced buyer would def fall for it.
A lot of the new “proxy” cards look like this. Apparently they use a real modern card as the back and the front is supposed to be not holographic, but made to look like it is.
That doesn’t seem like a good fake at all… the border is huge and the e is tiny
