One of their other listings is for Carhartt overalls and the pictures are literally screenshots of photos that still have the Android UI on them. The overalls have more wrinkles than this person’s brain.

Does the buyer have any liability in this situation? I’m guessing only if they can prove the buyer had knowledge it was stolen?

Legally probably not. But they can have it just straight up confiscated with the buyer taking a total loss.

I’m used to seeing the following on eBay auctions that have ended:
Bidding has ended on this item.
But the evolving skies uncut sheet listing shows the following banner on top:
This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold.
Do the 2 mean the same thing?
My guess is that the latter means an offer was made and accepted.

When you cancel a listing you’re given a list of options to pick from, like not having the item anymore. I believe one of them is “this item has been sold”. They just cancelled the auction, whether it’s because they got scared or someone messaged them an offer.
