To my knowledge, first documented WOTC Trainer. Can the community correct, if im mistaken. My local weekly poke’club suggested I seek assistance from the experts. I welcome all historical discourse. I truly appreciate your time and attention.
There were many trainer cards in every set before Neo Destiny. They were crucial to playing the TCG.
Do you mean the first English print of Lucky Stadium? If so, still no. The card below was the first Lucky Stadium released in English around November 2001 when the New York Pokemon Center opened. Neo Destiny 1st Edition released a few months later in February 2002.
The Neo Destiny Lucky Stadium is low pop because it wasn’t worth grading historically. They were a very cheap set uncommon card, and grading didn’t add a huge premium.
Thank you very much for your response and correction! So this is the 2nd English release Stadium card? I researched it being a non holo “silent grail”, “gatekeeper”, “king maker” etc.I understand for 30 years in the hobby most collectors chased the obvious under 200 pop holos & shine… When it seems this Lucky Stadium may be truly “Lucky”! Obviously I’m a staunch supporter of the underdog, Non Holos! But again my original thesis was, “Does any community member know of any other vintage wotc era trainers in cgc pristine 10. Held exclusively in highest rarity by a collector/collection?” If so, could you please cite card(s) & sets(s)?
Valid answer! Appreciate your valued insight! Yet, I’ll continue letting these Pop 1’s (non holos) propelling this collection! Men lie! Women lie! Numbers Don’t…
