Energy cards

Well I might not get this one in my collection.

I noticed that you have two different versions of prism stars. Is that a mistake or is there something I don’t know about?

An error on my behalf. Sometimes am running on auto pilot

There is a few ways to look at energy cards. You can value a single card and yes, the DCE Championship cards fetch more than likely the highest prices. The placement & STAFF stamped bringing more dough just like with pre-release cards i suppose. But then you can look at each set as really there is only 6-9 or so in each “set”. While you could get say a professor energy, these were given out as sets and are likely kept together as so (or should be) while a single card isnt that expensive, the set of 6 is. There was one promo set that was released via league playing that were distributed in sealed packs of 10 as single type energies. so you need all the packs (8 I believe). Then for a collection only need 1 of each. I infact have some of these and bought them all for the specific purpose to have only 1 of each with 9 of each left over. Then there are just plain hard to find cards (especially early ones) like from trainer kits or WCDs. Sure you could find a sealed WCD and break it open for the energy cards but watch over your shoulder for the pokemon police! Most of my cards I payed 10c or less for, searching through LCS bins and bulk, but I have paid up for some “sets” too. My binder is really a sub set that I took interest in and have casually collected over the past few years. Nothing that was really hunted down specifically.

Okay, np. I will follow-up with you soon, works got me backed up.

Just recently caught up on some @smpratte videos and remembered a relevant recent thread. Sorry to both parties involved… I had to.
