This is the first time I’ve ever seen these on auction since their release. It ends tonight. What do you all think each ends at?

Never understood the interest in them, but it looks like they’re going to have very solid auctions!

Why not? They are alt arts and were also released as tournament promos before it was known anywhere else would also get them.
Also, the usual Japanese texture, Eeveelutions etc.
A few reasons:

I think they are particularly weak arts compared to the others from Evolving Skies / Eevee Heroes.

There is no real discernible connection to the Summer Pokemon Card Campaign. A stamp or badge of some sort would have been cool. This is the same reason why I don’t think the Extra Battle Day promos are aesthetically interesting.

3,000 estimated copies seems like a lot for these cards to be selling at $5k in PSA 10.
But as always, these are just my opinions. I am glad that others enjoy them and I know that they will be popular in the future!

Since February, the PSA 10 population has exploded. It doesn’t help that the Gem Mint grading rate is 93%-96%. RIP to those buying at $5,000.
