Ebay Standard Envelope - Postage Due

Has anyone else had issues with ebay standard envelope and having to pay postage due when getting cards in?
In the past 4 years I am up to about 25 of these, probably a 10% hit rate. They are always under an ounce and to me they are bendable. It’s usually one card in a top loader. 46 cents every time, and it’s just time consuming to get the postage paid. Wondering if it’s a local post office issue, nationwide, or poor training from ebay and USPS.

That seems like a non-machinable charge. I’m assuming it’s because of the toploader as I have never had any issues when using semi-rigids. It probably varies from post office to post office as I do know people that send ese with toploaders and are fine.

Yeah actually ive had this happen to me quite a bit. Its usually less than a dollar when it happens though, and ive never mentioned anything to the seller because i figured its not worth it. North Dakota U.S.A if that matters

Might just depend on your local post office. I order in a good amount of PWE cards, and I’ve never once had this issue.

I’ve never had this issue with eBay standard env. or PWE.
Most of them include a top loader…
The fee for 2 oz is .92, so that’ not the problem. Does the envelope conform to the parameters? It looks a little tall.
Is the label placed correctly? (aligned with the longest edge)
Does the envelope have and hardware?

It’s likely a local office issue, but I am curious. Sometimes I’ll send cards to myself to see how they’re handled…
