Have dealt with this guy jonadek before, he has been 100% legit with me and a great customer. He did just buy 2 1st edition base PSA 9 non holos from me and requested for me to hold, I immediately told him to contact his post office and place his mail on hold.

Hey guys. So pretty weird, as I’m reading this a guy just purchased my Shadowless Charizard from me and asked me to delay shipping. Should I just refund and not ship the card?

He has solid feedback, but he also paid more than I was expecting to get for the card. That makes me a little nervous.

@zavik , And any other members, post the username(s) of these individuals. I had a buyer do this recently. The scam opportunity is you wait too long and they can open an INR.

In my case they tried to do just that, opened an Item Not Received case on ebay, they immediately lost, as I shipped with tracking. They opened an Item Not Received through paypal, which they also immediately lost. They also went full retard and left negative feedback stating, “the card is fake”. Acknowledging that it arrived… Of course ebay removed that immediately.

Tl;dr block and avoid anyone who pays and wants you to wait and ship. Its an unreasonable level of risk to absorb as a seller.

yes, a few days isnt crazy. i’ve had many requests like this in the past with no problems. it’s only concerning if they ask for you to hold for an amount of time that would enable them to open an item not received case while the item is in transit and have the case closed in their favour before you can prove the item has reached them.

Hey guys! To update. The guy started being a lot more reasonable and arranged for someone to pick it up after some back and forth. I have the payment and positive feedback.
