E4 Show & Tell: What are you excited about today?

I enjoy seeing collectors get excited about Pokemon, especially today when there is so much negativity floating around. Even if I know nothing about what you are sharing, your excitement makes me happy for you. The purpose of this thread is to highlight something Pokemon-related that you are excited about today.

It could be receiving a package from the post, rearranging a binder, discovering a new error, finding a rare card, learning about a new piece of lore, noting language-exclusive releases that were thought to not exist, displaying a collection of plush, organizing non-TCG items, adding Pokemon decor to your living or work spaces, finalizing a collecting goal, making a trade, etc. No accomplishment or item is too small to share - if you are excited or motivated about something, it belongs here.

So, what are you excited about today?

I made up a Shrouded Fable binder! It’s probably one of my favorite designs, and despite the overall lukewarm reception the set receives, I absolutely love the duskull line. I wish it was slightly darker, but overall I am stoked about it!

I can’t show you now because it only exists in my head, but I have the greatest new Pokemon art idea!

I made my first purchase of the year. 400 toploaders and 400 soft sleeves. Currently working on 2 binders; S&V Full Arts, and a sort of “cards I like” binder, which is currently vintage with a splash of modern, with a focus on intersting artwork.

Excited about how these are gonna look in a couple of months time!

Every day I look at my Rayquaza binder and get happy. Then look at E4 and become thankful that I had support from everyone here. Then look at pokebeach and learn a bit more about the TCG (although I still have no idea how it works)

Life is amazing. Also great thread and should pair nicely with my “What card do you appeciate” thread

Victreebel is getting a holo in Ascended Heroes, this is the first Victreebel holo since Celestial Storm(2018) which featured a reprint of the Victreebel from Aquapolis. This will be the first Victreebel holo to feature new art since Furious Fists(2014).

I am a grown adult, but I saw this was being released next month and now I kinda want one.

In general I’m excited for whatever’s coming up for the 30th anniversary this year!

Excited about the frequeny Kamonabe is getting commissions. Also that Spewpa! (who is waiting at the station to go to the Lumiose city museum /s). Bought 4 of that AR today

Plus an artist I recently discovered and really like wrapped up her first card commission with Creatures!
