The 2023/24 Illustration Contest top 300 has been revealed, and we will be running a series of polls to figure out which entrees are E4’s Favorite.

Each Pokemon will get it’s own Poll

melmetal is up!

surprised with how many strong styles are in this particular group. might be because of how abstract of a design it is including the texture and how artists approach it

this for example is a shading style i’d love to see in the tcg

I liked the variety, but overall I was pretty underwhelmed with these entries. Maybe I’m just not a huge Melmetal fan, but this is the least number of votes I’ve put in this far!

This was theme I enjoyed most while scrolling through the arts, finally found at least one reason to like Melmetal.

I really like melmetal as a pokemon, i wasn’t originally a big fan of meltan when it was revealed on pokemon go but melmetal has a lot of cool features, i especially like the way it melts when it’s defeated in battle i think i voted for majority of entries again but even though there were so many excellent ones here one was way above everything else

This one is breathtaking. If it doesn’t end up in top 5 i’ll leave e4. Please let it be in top 5

This one is hands down my fav Melmetal thing to exist. I really hope its up there for everyone else.

please, if you havent already, give this and the next 3 your input if you haven’t already. Koraidon is doing ok, but melmetal and toxtricity are struggling, and i’m not sure how much of it is because they’re not popular pokemon or their art is not as good.

There are entire good sets with fewer bangers than the entries of this one Pokemon. Admittedly I really like Melmetal but still, insane.

yeah because of this, i think the final round will be the top 25%(ish) of each pokemon instead of a flat number across the board. a pokemon like charizard is going to get more participants than something like melmetal or toxtricity.
