Great question! Yes, there are two separate brackets for singles and VGC. For VGC little cup you’ll be using the same team that you submitted for the main bracket. Little cup is for anyone in both brackets who did not make top 8 and they folllow the same rulesets as their respective main brackets (with the exception of being single elimination).

Happy to have you participate! Just wondering, what is your skill level in both singles and VGC?
So same team (items, ev’s, moves, etc) but just unevolved?

No no exact same team. Little cup has nothing to do with the level 5 format. It’s essentially an amateurs bracket.

Well, they can still run swinub in either bracket.
We can always do an actual little cup bracket in a future tournament once we’ve caught up.

No, it’s just an amateurs bracket for people who didn’t make top 8 so they aren’t bored while the main bracket concludes.

Gen 6 OU: I hit top 500 on PS ladder back then on this format, but it was a long long time ago lol when it was the current generation
VGC 2015: I never played this format. I have some experience in newer Scarlet-Violet formats (participated on the World Cup of Pokemon, top 500 on PS ladder, etc) as foundation but am expecting to having to learn 2015 format from scratch
