Echoing this sentiment. Gen 3 has so much variability and depth in choices, hard to find ine team that covers everything.

For anyone worried about not having enough experience, I will be watching a Youtube video on what it going on this gen. I have never played the gen 3 games and don’t know anything, but darn it I’m gonna try my hardest.

I can also vouch for no experience. I just pick pokemon i like then adjust based on practice games/read smogon

I would like to participate. I have only ever played the first games on an emulator and never played anything competitively. I will probably use the resources that @ddk posts. Thanks for doing this.

Any pokemon banned from use for Gen 3?
Yes. We are playing with Smogon Gen 3 Ou rules. That page shows the banlists (under the “play restrictions” section).
