This morning I knocked on @stagecoach’s door. He has the room next to Smpratte. I think that he is trying to get Smpratte to agree to do some channel content for him, he used to be a pretty famous content produced during the 2020 hype. Either way his therapist met me at the door and said he needed a little quiet time. The therapist looked a little nervous so I slipped away back to the lobby.
Wow! there sure are a bunch of people hanging around here waiting for Smpratte to show up. Think if you asked people to be someplace you’d be on time. Folks have been waiting awhile. This is a strange group for sure. I guess you figured as much after meeting them. Oh that’s a good idea. Someone has suggested that we split up and look for Smpratte. You all should take this chance to find out more about these people.

Hey what’s up Stagehands, bit of a different stream tonight. I know it’s been a while and I said no more videos but I thought this was too important. If you’ve been following the news on Instagram you already know what this is about. I just want to make clear everything I know and be honest and transparent with my viewers about what’s going on.
I know some of you have been asking why I took so long and I just needed to make sure I got all the facts straight. I owe you guys the truth and am always honest with my audience and would never say something without making sure I’d done all the research.
First things first, yes, I was at Worlds. You know I wouldn’t miss a big shindig like this one and make good content for my fans and fellow Stagehands who rely on me for the best info. I hung out with lots of personalities including SMPRATTE who was in the room next to me. We chatted a lot in the hallways and I even bought some stuff for my own collection.
Oh hey, you must be new viewers, welcome to the channel. Yeah as many know after the pandemic cooled down I really needed to take some time to refocus and work on my mental health. I said I’d stop making content for a while so I could figure out the best direction for the channel.
Yeah I’d obviously rubbed elbows with Scott Pratte before, being an influencer. We stayed on the same floor at the Con and my room was next to his. You might remember from my video a few years ago “POP 1? ONE OF A KIND SIGNED ENERGY FROM SMPRATTE!” - I liked to buy from Scott because he was such a trusted name in Pokémon.
Yeah of course, it was a great time always. Met lots of other creators and collectors, but didn’t get a chance to talk to everyone as much as I like. Everyone is so busy, you know. I’m sure everyone wishes they could have time to hang with everyone.
Unfortunately I think some people didn’t want to talk to me because of the false rumors about me, which I don’t want to get in to. Being a popular personality like me unfortunately attracts a lot of trolls who want to paint everything in the worst possible light.
Yeah of course you can watch all my clips and of course sub to my YouTube channel where I always post the edited version of my streams. I did all the usual stuff, but I did it best. Investment recommendations, market watches, box breaks and pack openings, and shined a spotlight on drama. Everyone knows how crazy the last few years of Pokémon were, ha ha.
Anyway I really want to set the record straight so I’m going to keep chatting and am glad to keep answering questions, be sure to like and subscribe so you don’t miss any updates from me.

A quarter of an hour has passed. I hastily gulp down a glass of water, but a somber mood still lingers in the air. I think, “Where is Smpratte?” I feel ill around this strange group of uninvited guests. One of the guests - I do not notice who - suggests that the group split up to find smpratte.
The group begins to spread in different directions in search of smpratte, I decide to use this opportunity to find out more about the others.
Hey Guys, I saw smpratte earlier. He seemed a bit erratic, perhaps more than what I would have expected. I know that things are crazy at Worlds, but I honestly expected him to be a bit more introverted and laid back. There were a few details that I remember… maybe they will help us locate the guest of honor?
I arrived at the hotel around noon after traveling directly from NYC. I approached the lobby to ask smpratte if I could join the festivities, and he was happy to show me the registration table and the new E4 badges. In fact, he seemed almost desperate to show me around. Behind smpratte, I saw pfm who came to join me at 12:15.
While smpratte and I were walking around the lobby and looking at Pokémon displays, I noticed that he was carrying something in his hand. I’m not sure that he even remembered that he was carrying it around, as he had been so engrossed in talking about Pokémon art. I couldn’t get a good look at what it was, because I wanted to make a good impression.
At about 1:00, I saw smpratte bolt off after some tangential Japanese artist. Sowing? SlowSlow? Slowbro? Some woman with an S and a strange name. He dropped whatever was in his hand on the carpet and I followed him.
Just as I was about to tell smpratte that he had dropped something, I got an important business call from my partners at SGC. Something about expensive promos in the Pokemon world and reminders of my job duties. And those calls took me away from the festivities from 1:15-3:00.

@stagecoach wow, definitely a fan now that ive seen your old videos. The older ones you did for shock value were my favorite because who else would think to do those kinds of things in the buff while still making it about pokemon cards. Anyways, glad that it seems that your still going to be around even after a mental health break, any new plans for your channel? You mentioned buying some cards, get any sets or collections? Will we be seeing them on new content? Announce it here first if so.
By the way, have you seen @smpratte today? He was supposed to be meeting in the lobby.
@Dyl How does sgc handle stains or red ink errors on cards? Hopefully theyll at least be able to authenticate if its a factory ink error or not, since ive heard them to be a real operation not run out of a closet.

Ah yes, sowsow is right! My expertise lies with the purchasing and valuation of collectibles, not the gender of Japanese artists. Perhaps when we find smpratte, he will let us know!
We use the most sophisticated technologies to identify the chemical compositions of substances on submitted cards. Tests from spectroscopy would tell us whether a card had blood or red ink on it, for example.
You are absolutely right. We are a real operation, not run out of a closet like some of our competitors.

All I wanted to do today was seek out some rare Pokemon cards. Now there is all this hubbub about little Scotty missing? I just wanted a fun getaway to be distracted from real life. Can’t an old man be happy? Retirement is supposed to be about doing what you want and ignoring people who tell you to stop walking away with unpaid pokemon merchandise. Wait, what did I say? I mean I’m supposed to be able to engage with my fun hobby with my grandson in reckless abandon on this adventure. I want nothing else!
But there was a favor I wanted from him. Ohh. Yes. Now I suppose I have to help find him. What time is it currently? I have to refresh my memory… yes.
Let’s see. I went to poke pop up shops this morning… I opened several ETB’s… yes. I talked to my grandson right before noon today. At the hotel. I haven’t seen him yet at the convention. Maybe I’ll just go up to his room? Yes. Perks of being in the Pratte family, I’ll just go to the concierge and ask to be let in his room.
Oh my. This is quite strange. Young Scotty was not in his room. But… but… right next to the mini fridge with dozens of coconut water bottles strewn around… there was some sort of makeshift shrine… dedicated to a professor oak! There was an astounding article cut out. I don’t know how to use these darned smarty phones… I had to bring it down to the receptionist to get a photo to share with all these strangers.
What the dagnabbit is going on here? And who are these other people? Why is everyone else so eager looking for him? I’m the one who needs to talk to him the most. And he’s my darn grandson. Everyone else just wants to milk him for his 008/p.
I may be old and my eyes weak, but I’ve always been an avid people watcher. Second only to my pokemania. These youngen’s are acting odd, quite odd. This one lad is acting all sorts of funny looking around the floors, avoiding people’s gaze. Who acts like that? I also spoke to this gentleman, a business man he said. Something about grading cards, which interests me. But I tried to give him my highly credentialed resume and he said no the market is down. The market isn’t down! It’s doing great! I asked around for the names of these folks. I got to get names in me old noggin. Never been very good at that, but I don’t forget a face. The first boy was a Will. The card grader was Dyl. It’s too bad, he doesn’t know what he’s missing. I’m the biggest expert on all things Pokemon.
Why doesn’t anyone ask for the wisdom of everyone’s elders? I know Scotty better than everyone else. My wife and I spend the most time with him. I even gave him a gift this morning since he’s my grandson whom I am very proud of for being such a popular, successful young man.

@khairis I’ve been collecting Pokemon for a loooooong time, like a year now. I collect primarily Japanese promos, but also like to collect a good grass type if you know what I mean lol. “Strategy” isn’t really my style, whether it’s etherium or exeggutor, let it ride man.

@lyleberr Crypto is a dog eat dog world out there my friend, sometimes you rocket to the moon, sometimes you realize the coin drop was actually a scam to get your social security number, Win some, lose some. Idk about legal stuff, just know it’s not for the faint of heart

@needszeebs Me and Pratte talked all the time about the Prof, he was devastated when he died. I heard one rumor that SBF had the collection in his prison cell, but idk I’m a little skeptical. I haven’t heard anything that I’d gamble on.

Anywho, it’s been like 15 minutes and no sign of Smpratte. My throat is a little sore, so I gulp down some high quality H20. I’m getting a little weirded out that he’s not down here yet, and all these randos are just hanging around. I was a little cloudy headed, so don’t remember who, but someone suggested we split up and look for Pratte. I’ll take this opportunity to figure out what I can about my fellow attendees here…
I let everyone know what I know, just in case it’s helpful. I like to be a helpful person 
Around 930 this morning, I was wandering around the hotel, and I heard Grandma Pratte sobbing and speaking to someone. Couldn’t see who. I do remember it was in the breakfast room though.
When Professor Oak died, I was worried about Pratte. He was torn up about it, felt distraught and alone. Professor Oak was like a father to him. His only living relative is Grandma Pratte, and he hasn’t seen her since he took over the house. Pratte wanted to make amends with his grandma, but said he never wanted to see her husband, @brendantheclayboy, again. He never made contact with grandma.

Nonsense! Scotty and I have always been close, he was very happy when I married in, I even took the Pratte name to show my affection to him and granny!
This is news to me, and why would this Will even know this? Sounds like my wife has some explaining to do. I gave him a heartfelt gift this morning as a show of good faith and love to hopefully bring us closer together…yes. He seemed very happy. I can’t believe what I’m hearing. Scotty will clear all this up when he arrives. You’re all strangers, we are the actual family!

I have a feeling he knows something about Professor Oak’s death that we are all missing. Seems like he discovered something earlier today that made him leave in a hurry. Surely he will bring us some evidence of who Professor Oak’s killer is. Also, @Will explain to me who you think the killer is, and tell me why it’s you.
If you mean who killed it in bed with your sister and/or mother, then yes, I am the killer

Hi dears. Granny here again. It’s been about a quarter of an hour and still no sign of my Scotty. I saw him at breakfast and again at lunch with that bunny boy and that YouTube guy (Stagecoach?). I have to admit I’m not the most comfortable with all these Pokeman folks around - that said I was glad when what’s-their-face suggested we should split up to search for Scotty. Better to talk to one hooligan at a time than a whole mess of 'em. No luck around the hotel or the vault, but I’m sure he’ll turn up!
Speaking of missing, where has that brendantheclayboy gotten to? He wasn’t in bed this morning and I didn’t see him on my morning constitutional or even at all until this afternoon. Well never mind that, I guess. Some peace and quiet does a granny some good, ya know?
That young kid Stagecoach started going on and on about their new Youtube movie. At first I thought it was going to about those blasted cards, but once I heard it was about some fella being bludgeoned to death and dumped in a lake I grew a bit more interested… Especially because it rings a bell in that foggy old head of mine for some reason. Plus I am a sucker for some good Youtubes after all. Maybe Stagecoach will let me in on who they think the killer is… I mean I did help Logan Paul out with his love life, so why not give an old lady a chance to use her head?

I only saw Scotty at 11am or so, I can’t say whether I saw him last or not. Also, why is this being treated like a kidnapping or something? I’m sure he’s just gonna arrive to the convention shortly.
This Oak murder was a year ago. It was tragic but it seems to be carrying over a little too dramatically with this week of fun we are all supposed to be having. Even if it is weird that Scotty had a shrine of him in his hotel room.
