That’s not an option as far as I am concerned.
@Will You said you saw Professor Oak’s collection and recognized some of the cards. Was there any that stood out to you in particular that you can recall?
What rumors do you speak of? Do you know if his collection was graded? Or was he known to be a steadfast binder collector?
why would will do this
I can’t speak too much about industry secrets. What I can say is that his collection would have been worth more if slabbed by SGC.
@will Sorry, didnt mean to fluster you. As I said, Im just getting a bit into it, you know as a hobby, so I dont even know what kind of legalities there would be for needing to own the real world assets in order to mint nfts and fractionalize them. I wonder if you could enlighten me if you had a chance?
@pfm, you see all the sordid and unsavory activity on E4. Can you summarize @stagecoach channel before their breakdown? I cant imagine how all the constant E4 nerd shenanigans during what should be a relaxing weekend would do in terms of making one susceptible to a second breakdown. Did they ever go on E4 to talk about their struggles?
@pfm As a true crime enthusiast, surely you must have poked your nose in the Oak murder mystery. What were the rumors flying around on Discord or on E4 at the time? Did Professor Oak have any detractors due to how he handled or presented his collection or was he liked by most collectors?
The inside scoop on everyone?? Hmm where do I begin.
Mochi is a delightful little rabbit with soft, white fur that feels as squishy and plush as the sweet Japanese rice cake she’s named after.
Flopsy and Mopsy are an inseparable pair of sibling bunnies, with Flopsy sporting fluffy fawn fur and Mopsy with a charming mix of brown and black patches.
Lulu, he is a tiny black bunny with a curious nature…
Wait. Why are you giving me that look, I thought you wanted to know about the scoop on my adorable rabbits?
Professor Oak? Old bag. So clueless to so much makes you wonder how he got the PhD
We at SGC take our slab durability very seriously. We have worked closely with highly-trained veterinarians to ensure that our slabs are pet-resistant. Even the most aggressive rabbit cannot chew through our strengthened plastic.

@pfm when you murdered Professor Oak, which one of your rabbits were there to witness his death? I’d like to bring them in for questioning.
@Will Did smpratte ever talk to you about how close he was to professor oak? Have you heard any rumors floating around about the location of professor oaks collection since his untimely passing?
Why hello hello hello, good day and evening young whippersnappers.
The name is Brendan the Norman clayboy Pratte. Granny and I were married in… what was it? '95? Golly, the years fly by. We met in the grocery aisle. That’s about all I remember of our origin story. That–'er and, 'y’see, she was married before. Yes. Oh! And we grew up in the same town. But enough of that! More about this exciting hobby and week!
It’s true, I was there since the beginning. Getting right into the Pokebiz since '99, inspired by my handsome grandson, smpratte. We were like flies on poo, we were. That is, the flies being us and the poo being the pokemon cards! Ah yes, I enjoy pokemon very much. Yes I did have ALL the WOTC cards, as I was indeed a bigshot distributor for them and I loved hoarding as much as I could. Those were the glory days.
I’m having a hard time getting my memory refreshed here, being the old man I am, but yes, I do recall Granny not being too fond of those promos. Things have certainly been better but I have plans, oh, yes I am have plans! I have been on a romantic RV getaway with the wife lately–at worlds here now–and we have stopped in at the place to see the grandson and maybe find some more rare cards! And I do believe I’ve been able to impress her with some great pokeanime and parking lot donuts around the convention. A happy wife is a happy life.
As for a question I see already in this convention, sometimes I am greatly upset… yes… that I relinquished my fortune before the recent market explosion, but I try not to dwell too much. For I am on a mission to amass a greater collection than ever before, and it keeps me quite busy in my retirement. I currently love ripping open ETB’s to complete the binders!
What was his name? Did they have children?
I never wanted to know his name, I never asked. I suppose the name Scott was thrown around a few times in those days. But there are too many Scotts I am familiar with in my life. Always too many Scotts. And she never told me of any other children!
As if I’d even click on such unwatchable videos. I know what I know but I dare not speak of the fellow until he has decided to make an appearance here.
Such a libellous accusation. Ironically from an individual who proclaims himself as a so-called “throwing knife killer”. Terrible, honestly. Of course hypothetically, if I were to commit a felony like murder I would bring along little Lucifer. He is great at digging holes.
What are you implying? Smpratte is absolutely fine.
(Lemme walk that one back, forgot my speculations have not come to fruition yet)
You and smpratte are close… and I understand he was close to Oak. Did Mr. Pratte ever talk to you about Oak much? Before or after his death?
Additionally, Brendan Pratte mentioned a Scott potentially involved with Grandma in the past. Seeing as you’re the only other Scott I know here, would you happen to know anything about that?
@niece Was there any official investigation conducted by the authorities at the Professor Oak murder site? Do we have any details?
Cheers!
Mr. Oak and I have talked a time or two. With Scotty being at my house all of the time, I saw him from time to time once he started to be a go to for Scotty’s endless desire to know more about those intolerable cards.
And that silly @brendantheclayboy aloof as usual! Ditzy though he may be, I agree that the past is the past and we’ll just leave it at that! I’m just here to see my grandson! In the meantime I plan to watch a lot of YouTube and anime in the RV - I’d rather not listen to all you young folks drabble ramble on about cardboard!
