I’ve always noodled with an an idea to include all of Pokemon’s box legendaries (and Mewtwo) into one pic, so this was a good excuse to do it. Also wanted to pay homage to the original Red / Blue motif, and the ever-classic Pokeball iconography.

Yeah uhhh whatever I submit is childlike *INTENTIONALLY*… Nothing to do with my limited artistic ability… I am a master of my craft and thus simple childlike drawings pose a creative challenge for me… hehehe.
If it makes you feel better, I have about as much artistic talent as a brick.

Title: Blaze Kick!
I drew Blaziken because he’s my favorite Pokemon! Also, I wanted to challenge myself to draw a dynamic angle and experiment with stylizing fire. I had a lot of fun working on this drawing, and I hope all of you like it too!

The original creation is the origami magnemite. I am just using the gameboy and cards as a background. I hope that’s allowed. I wasn’t sure if this would be more appropriate for the “child-like” category but the qualifications for that category seemed to exclude this type of art so I went with original creation.
