Yes, half grades do exist, but up to a 9.

I was super lucky to get a 8.5 on a base set unlimited venusaur in my most recent submission! You can imagine my excitement! Pig in mud level stuff.

They suck so fortunately they don’t happen often.

They’re not a popular grade, I’ve never heard of a 8.5 being cracked and resubmitted and earning the same grade, they should scrap the abomination altogether

dont crack it you may damage the card, it is too valuable XD

@pokeshing, I wouldn’t crack it open, I’d have them re-encapsulate it.

8.5s to me are basically 9s where psa has decided they want you to pay for the grading twice before they give you the 9.

I like 8.5s they are unique. Obviously would prefer the 9 but it doesn’t bother me

I was joooooking, there was no excitement there haha. Nah 8.5s aren’t rare. But I have to say of all the grades I’ve ever gotten on cards that is the least given grade I’ve ever had. Infrequent would be the proper term perhaps
