Does PSA Give Higher grades/ Favour if claimed over 100US?

There is no correlation between value and grading. When you send in enough cards over time every “pattern” will be extinguished. Ironically, years ago people said the opposite, if you declare higher you get a better result because you paid more money to PSA. There is always some type of conspiracy theory.

Most importantly, graders are not collectors. They don’t know the difference between your Pikachu common base card and obscure Japanese trophy card.

Bang on…every single employee is very concerned with grading price levels, turnaround times, value etc EXCEPT the graders and Cintas(the cleaning service) lol.

Graders know a T206 Honus Wagner when they see one though

If they sit there all day grading and there suppose to be the Pokemon STANDARD, shouldn’t they know our rare shit by now, or Base set or anything? I thought they do this crap all week. It’s a shame they don’t know our stuff, I’m not saying they do, I just thought things were different over at ol PSA.

The value or rarity have no relevance to the grader. They are hired to grade an item on its condition. It is better they do not know an items value.

Well there you go… They shalt not know how much my golden staricals are worth, MUHAHAHAHAHA… Maybe. I still havnt deciders, but im leaning more towards claiming them in the 100US mark.

I will show you all the conditions when they arrive from japan.
