Does psa atill allow 60/40 centering

I remember psa used to specify 60/40 to 55/45 ratio for centering and the general consensus on what that meant was that 60/40 was possible of everything else was good. However, last year they removed it. From the newer posts reacting to the changes at the time and emails with, 60/40 seemed like it was supposed to be possible?

I remember some person on e4 emailed psa and they said that the 60/40 is still possible up to the graders discretion.

Now that it’s been a year has anyone actually tested or experienced grading 60/40 cards that are flawless in other aspects? Any 10s?

Nope

On paper, no. In practice, yes, you can still get a PSA 10. The same applies to CGC Pristine, which technically requires 50/50 centering.

Haven’t graded any exact 60/40 recently, but on my latest sub that was completed this week, a card that was between 55/45 and 60/40 graded a 10.

I’ve been wondering this too, I have a sub that is about to go out with a shadowless Charizard in this category - I’ll let you know what it gets!

I remember Nat Turner saying in a recent interview they let the 55/45 slide occasionally if it’s really close and the rest the card is perfect (in other words, it doesn’t affect eye-appeal).

So 60/40 is out of the question then?
