I like what they are doing with the Chinese exclusives. I’ll probably crack one of these to grade at PSA.

Just to have, grade and then keep. Not interested in resale but I’m also wary of the idea of it being a Chinese exclusive and not knowing enough about it.
Beautiful card and yeah being that its an exclusive to the Chinese market and a great artwork it has really peaked my interest and just want to do my due diligence before getting one
I like the card, I bought one back when it was about $200 cheaper. I suspect as more packs continue to be sold and opened the price will come down (just like most hype cycles for modern cards). I didn’t buy it as an investment or anything, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the price goes up because the demand is high for this set, and the Chinese market is definitely emerging with more and more interest in Pokemon. If I hadn’t bought one before, I don’t think I would buy one at the current prices, but that’s just me.
I do think the card is a little more on the niche side for the English market given that it is Chinese, but I personally think it’s neat that it’s Chinese exclusive and I genuinely like the art. I’m more interested in the next exclusive AR that should be released with the Psyduck cameo, and I suspect the one that will garner the most interest is the one with Gengar. Haven’t decided yet if I’ll grade the card or not, but for now it sits happily in a toploader with all of my other 151 full art cards of various languages.

don’t understand what you’re saying, the price of this card keeps going down on the chinese market since it’s release
It’s selling regularly on eBay for $400+ for a raw copy, and more than that on graded copies. I bought mine at about $200 a few months back (when they were all selling for that price). Where are you seeing the price only going down from release? I’m not dialed into Chinese specific sources, but on eBay the price absolutely went up.

The main chinese app for collectors is called Jihuanshe, graded 10 copies of the 151 art rare pikachu are plentiful and sold around 250€, going down.
The market on ebay is the opposite.
Graded 10s by which grading company?

If someone bought that for full price that’s 100% buy the grade not the card…
