If I was the seller if give you a full refund. And claim the value off of the postage company. Everyone wins (except UPS, but it’s their fault).

Just had an order on eBay that this happened to me. I package my psa cards in between cardboard slabs placed in a poly mailer bag then placed in a bubble mailer. The customer offered to split the cost of getting the card a new case, even after I offered to pay for it all or accept a return with a full refund.
Unless it’s under $50 I ship in a bubble mailer in a small flat rate priority box. Never had an issue thankfully
