Not saying you were not scammed but can you explain for us exactly what makes you suspect that the box/cards are an “obvious fake” as you say

holo pattern on the Marnie promos are incorrect, the coin is scratched (like my old genuine coins from the early 2000s), the printing is off (saturation, clarity, etc.) of the booster boxes and cards, card border spacing is all over the place, etc.

to be clear not saying I was scammed, I’m sure it’s possible that the seller didn’t know as well… would be interested if anyone has experience with how long it takes for support to pick up and respond to a ticket… since their quoted timeframe of 3 days has passed.

Can you upload pictures of the fake cards and the box? Was it already open when you received it? I’d be surprised to see fakes of a 50€ milk carton collection, especially going as far as also faking the promos and whatnot, but I guess it’s not impossible.

Why on earth do you thinks that is fake? But most of all NOBODY well try to sell fake on cardmarket as professional seller. If they close your account, you are done. You cannot get another account because you need to identify yourself with pasport/ID.

Yes. I contacted support. They asked me to make photos of the received card. They confirmed it was a fake. I had to provide photos of the card being destroyed and they gave me back my money and flagged up the seller.
