Not sure if it has only applied to japanese ex era codes (and perhaps other languages had the same plan but it never actually happened?) but i think this would be good info to add here about the usage of the codes

@trainerjack Apparently, the codes were used to pull up scans of the artwork on a Japanese mobile app called Pokémon Hiroba (aka Pokémon Square or Pokémon Plaza).
