Not a boomer, but I choose Squirtle of course

Come on boomers, where’s your presence on E4? Geez. We’re being overrun by these non boomers.
Torchic. No doubts.
Chimchar
It’s complicated.
My first ever starter was Bulbasaur on someone else’s game cartridge.
Of course I got hooked so I got my own game. Yellow version just came out, so I got that. Naturally I ended up with a Pikachu.
Then you see my username has Squirtle in it. Yeah, about that. I actually chose this name because it’s same one I used on a different Pokemon forum 20 years ago (On GameFAQs, actually). The name is nostalgic to me. I’m not actually a Squirtle superfan.
If I HAD to pick, I’d probably choose Cyndaquil, simply because of the TCG. Neo Genesis T17 FTW!
Always loved Bulbasaur from the OG trio. From the game and anime, it was my favorite by far. Squirtle came in 2nd because of the Squirtle Squad.
Overall, though, Totodile takes the cake for me above all others.
Mudkip if I had to choose! But you can’t go wrong with Squirtle, Torchic, or Cyndaquil either!
Im glad people are seeing the way of the mud scamp
No one is saying piplup
Actually that’s fine, means I can get the cards for cheaper
Gen IV Gang Rise up!
Obviously chose Squirtle.
Squirtlesquad
Chose Charmander because I don’t like picking “other”. Bulbasaur was my first starter and he’s great, but Charmander wins. Call me lame but Charizard is cool.
But! The Gen 3 starters are are all amazing…Mudkip and Torchic a little more so but Treecko is fun too.
The card game has actually made me like the Gen 2 starters a lot more, as well. The starter lines have such cool cards, mostly just due to the Neo artwork.
Have pretty much always gone grass–plant dinos all the way
Squirtle
Totodile
Mudkip
Piplup
Tepig
Froakie
Rowlett
Sobble(however the first generation where I ditched my starter ASAP)
I mean…Eevee is technically a starter pokemon sooo :3
-Steven
I chose Sobble for my playthrough and I stick with my guns (ugh, inteleon.) that he is the best looking first stage starter that generation…but, everytime he evolved I ended up crying as much as Sobble would, now I know that he was just crying because he didn’t want to grow up.

Posting a poll outside the Polls & Giveaway Section, what a rebel!
I typically ignore the starter in Pokémon games and go after bug Pokémon instead.
