I’m thinking about learning to paint on cards like this and was wondering what’s the cheapest cosmo holo card to source for:
- JP old back
- JP new back
- International back
For old back maybe the Neo metal energy? Otherwise some of the jungle holo like Pinsir/Venomoth are near the lowest price.

Prices obviously fluctuate and you won’t find 50 copies of the same card for the same price, but on average I’d recommend these!
Old Back Japanese: Metal Energy (Neo 1), Azumarill (Neo 1), Bellossom (Neo 1), Jumpluff (Neo 1)
New Back Japanese: DP-P and DPt-P Cosmos foil promos in MP/HP condition, 005/L-P - 007/L-P Promos seem to be plentiful and rather cheap, and VS Series Darkness & Metal Energies
