I was comparing the PSA pop numbers for set charizard cards. I thought you guys might also like to see the results.
Note: Reverse holos/foils have been filtered, but I missed the LC non-holo.

Nice, now for a decent pokemon.
Rainbow = quality graphs. Interesting stuff to see.
Log scale might work better because of outliers making the lower values harder to discern.
Love seeing your posts with graphs for some reason! Its nice to compare data of different cards
The most shocking part about that graph is how many Charizards have been printed in the past ten years. I zoomed into the middle of the graph expecting to the EX Series or early DP-era…and nope, XY-era lol.
Another interesting thing that the graph shows is proportion of PSA 10s remains pretty consistent until around 2014-2015. And then it skyrockets. And this is exactly what you’d expect, since that’s when PSA-grading started to become super widespread in the hobby. Ever since 2014 or so, people have been opening packs and perfectly preserving cards straight out of the pack to a much greater degree than they did during WotC/EX-eras. And this, I think, is what has lead to the crazy premium for WotC/EX Series sealed product. Opening it is pretty much the only way to find mint cards from those eras, whereas there’s a glut of perfectly-preserved modern cards, which makes modern-era sealed product much less desirable. People sitting on modern sealed product expecting it to appreciate like anything WotC-EX (or even DP/HGSS) are going to be sorely disappointed.
