Pretty redundant to say this, as obviously the game can only run on a cheap algorithm when the art of the frame is something that has hundreds upon hundreds of books on it. A machine critiquing almost any form of artistic substance will almost certainly not be worth the time it would take to make the algorithm.
If we are being honest Pokemon snap is an incredibly “cheap” game that takes about 15 minutes to “beat.” The most interesting thing about it as a child was the blockbuster sticker printer and the prize cards. They honestly needed those things to make the game interesting enough to warrant anywhere close to 50 dollars
