The one from etsy is flat with no actual holo but the cgc one has different patterns depending on the angle from the pictures you posted

Two cards can have basically the same holo. It’s not unheard of, and it’s probably not even extremely rare. I think there was a thread on E4 for these similar-looking-holo-patterned cards.

That is, admittedly, a bit uncanny, but the holo patterns on the Meganiums are clearly shifted compared to each other. Definitely a strange finding though!
Maybe someone is making a sport of this

Makes sense. I did notice the slight shift. In hindsight, if someone had the capabilities of replicating patterns this well, they’d probably be randomizing it too rather than using the stock one.

Just a strange coincidence.
CGC may have had some issues with the playtests, but they’re generally proficient at determining if a (released) card is fake or real. If your concern was someone printing vintage cards in 2025, why would they choose a Dragonite and Meganium from Expedition when other, more valuable, cards exist?

That’s exactly what the scammers would want you to think, and exactly how they fly under the radar. If you open your eyes and ears though, you’ll see the signs. All I’ll say is, there’s been some very unusual movement in PSA 10 unlimited Base Set Machops…
