Celebi Gold Star PSA 9 with bent corner

Hey everyone, I recently bought this Celebi Gold Star off eBay and when it arrived I noticed the bent in the top right corner. Would you keep it or return it as damaged? The bent was not visible on the listing’s pictures. The back also looks pretty rough, to a degree where I am wondering if the card got reslabbed at some point, although there are no signs that point to it.

When you view the scans on PSA does it show the back looking any different from the eBay listing ?

Also PSA 9’s can range from looking like what I would see PSA 7’s usually to PSA 10’s lol

Not surprised that a card with something like this went through a consigner, easier for the seller to avoid any return hassle.

This looks like it could be encapsulation damage? I have never looked into PSA’s grade guarantee, might be worth checking to see if they’d do anything. It’s noticeable, but minor enough they may just say it’s fine.

I wouldn’t accept a return for this because a seller is not the grader. The seller did not make this “mistake”. You can totally reach out to PSA and get it reholdered but that would also likely make them reduce the grade because they are aware of the damage.

psa’s problem not the seller, anyway you wont be able to return assuming they listed it properly and it went thru auth

I see you bought from SLAP. If you live in the EU and purchased as a private individual, you have the right to return the card within 14 days after receiving it — no reason needs to be given. It doesn’t matter if the item is consigned by a private seller. You can also read SLAB’s AGB (Terms and Conditions) and Widerrufsbelehrung (cancellation policy) for more details.

Thank you so much, I somehow forgot about that and returned the card now. So if anyone is looking to buy this one it will probably be back up on eBay soon. Cheers!
