Card Stores in Japan

I haven’t seen a ‘what shops to visit while I’m in Japan’ thread for a while, but I found this today as a friend was on their podcast and thought it was interesting.

It’s basically a review and photo journal of numerous card stores around Japan and interesting details about them, it’s mainly stores around Nagoya as that’s where he lives but there are other regions and stores listed too. It’s an MTG focused site so don’t expect to see much talk about pokemon, but a lot of the stores listed do carry pokemon & yugioh, they’re not all primarily MTG stores.

I liked the part about interacting with staff in the shops, if anyone’s going I thought it might be helpful and give you some extra places to pop into.

This is a very interesting thread indeed.
This would be a decent potential project (to do one specific to pokemon) on another vacation trip.
One thing to point out though, there are a lot of smaller, less-commercialized stores in those areas that are really easy to miss if you don’t / can’t read Nippongo.
