Card sorting

To all you master set collectors out there, how do you sort your cards for those sets that contain more than just regular cards? Do you put them side by side with the regular card? Include them both within the same slot? Or do you first have all regular cards in one set, and then a second set for all reverses?

These days with sets containing a wide variety of things (reverses, GX, full art, secret rares, etc…) I’d love to know if there’s a standard approach/guideline that collectors follow to organize their sets.

There is no right answer. Its completely up to you and what you like to see when you open up the binder.

Personally I always stick by set number. If the set has reverses in it I will put the reverse next to it side by side, and never a card behind the other.

If theres staff promos or other promos, putting them in the back of the set is fine, Or if they share the same artwork, throw it in next to the original card.
