Can you weigh Pop Series Booster Pack?

Hi,
as I am close in making a deal for a bunch of loose Pop Series Pack, I was wondering if they can be searched/weighed for the holos?

There are no holos in POP packs! The stars shinies as well as any rares are nonholo. and the holos were released in tins, 3 packs, box sets, etc. No need to worry about weighed packs! Searched and resealed packs poses a concern though…

It’s also worth noting that since the packs are only 2 or 3 cards depending on the set, the cards inside are more prone to damage in the form of dings or bending. Make sure the packs aren’t in too physically rough condition as that could indicate damaged contents, especially if you’re playing the POP 5 lottery.

Hi! Sorry I know this is a super old post, but if this is the case, where do the cards like cracked ice Carnivine from pop series 8 come from? I’ve been looking into buying a few packs myself, and considered opening one of them (I can’t really afford to open most vintage packs but thought opening one of these might be fun), but my concern was that someone might have weighed the pack or resealed it. Was each holo/reverse holo used as a promo back then?

I know the pop series packs used to be placed in check lane blisters, most specifically I remember the Heatran one from pop series 8 in pictures, but for some reason I always assumed some of them contained reverse holos/holos

Thank you for your help!

All pop series packs only have non-holo cards

The cracked ice cards came from these sealed products. Which are surprising very hard to find.

I only know of one unopened carnivine box left

Are we sure they can’t be weighed? Asking because contrary to OP, many pop packs do contain holos, including ex and gold stars…

No, the ex and gold stars in the packs are actually nonholo. The ex cards did sometimes get holo versions, but these were released as promos in tins or other products and not in the packs themselves.
