I see. So basically you are just creating a label directly thru PayPal which would help you more if you did an ff payment and have to show USPS proof of value.

Sure just show PayPal that you are selling a product to your “family/friend”
by using them for the label directly no need to make rude comments. Your PayPal could easily be shut down for family/friends payments for selling an item as you are STEALING from PayPal as simple as that Gary. Now you do whatever you want. Just don’t give others your wrong advice

Everything I said was true so I didn’t deserve your, “Well actually this isn’t true” comment. So try not to cry over my “what are you smoking” reply. I didn’t say something like go **** yourself little bit*h. THAT would have been “rude” (but true;)

Lastly, your whole premise was based on my giving wrong advice. Where did I give advice? I think I already said that I don’t suggest how anybody else should handle their stuff. I simply said I’ve used f/f with many friends.

What about the storie’s involving people who do a Paypal Buyer Protection and the tracing will say it arrived, but the buyer will say it didn’t arrive and claim the money back from Paypal.

It’s what has put me off from allowing people to pay me using Paypal, it wouldn’t benefit me.

That isn’t a thing.

Paypal like eBay has seller protection as well. If you upload tracking and it shows as delivered you are in the clear for “item not received claims”. That said they can still force a return due to INAD and then return an empty box which is always a risk and then it becomes a bit of your word against theirs. This is a very rare occurrence though and with a clean account on your end vs. an account that likely has blemishes on their end you’d be likely to prevail.

I have never bought or sold any cards outside of eBay and am wondering about the procedures for transacting with Paypal. I’ve read about buyer and seller protection on Paypal’s website but am wondering if I could draw on experience here to find out about some good practices to follow as a buyer (and also as a seller) to ensure an honest transaction. For example, is there anything I should do or any records I should keep so that Paypal will associate a particular payment with a particular transaction? Thanks to anyone who takes the time to respond.

Those Websites with Paypal service is good to go, coz you always can get refund from Payapl if anything goes wrong.
Try not to use bank transfer.
