Here we have what started it all for me. My first and biggest love in Pokemon. Something I still use heavily to this day, for competitive fun with a friend. Something that brought me to the TCG and Pokemon collecting in general. Something that I owe a great deal of childhood memory and reverence to in shaping who I am as a person in my formative years. I love these games.
I’ve had the original Gen 1 games since childhood. I have had to replace the batteries on all these pups a couple times now. Also shown is my first ever Gameboy, the GB Pocket. Then, a nice GB color, and now I’ve gone all modern on myself and gotten an Advance SP for current playing. High tech, I know. Recently I got the Japanese games, the true OG’s, with full inserts. I have provided said inserts for your pleasure. The map of Kanto is particularly exquisite. And, what, many of you may perhaps ask, is that cartridge with the shiny Swinub? Why, it is Pokemon Crystal Clear. This is a Rom Hack of the greatest magnitude that is fully compatible with G/S/C and brings me great joy. The ultimate post game material that I highly recommend. All those things you’ve yearned for missing in G/S/C and more are brought to you in full swing, including Gym Re-battles, level 70 and up E4, all 251 Pokemon available, and more.
