BGS Priority Grading Service Turnaround

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had recent experience with the Priority tier for BGS?

Their website says 2-3 business days for turnaround, but given their recent troubles and all the negative experiences, I get the feeling there will be slippage in their turnaround.

For context, I’m planning on doing an in-person drop off and pick up, and am wondering how much time I should budget.

Also curious if I should limit my submission to a certain number to ensure speedy completion. (e.g. fewer than 10)

Appreciate any insights you guys have and thanks in advance!

BGS turnaround time starts whenever they feel is suitable

Last time I tried an in-person drop-off with that timeframe, it was done in two days. It was my only Beckett submission ever, so I have nothing else personally to compare it to.

Oh nice! How many cards did you submit?

Just one!

Tell us the card, pretty please

Also BGS turnaround will be what it says on the tin.

They’ve been great recently (unless you send it in economy).

Unikarp! It was a 9.5/9.5/9.5/9 and I thought it looked better. It got bumped to all 9.5’s.

That’s awesome man, wp!

9 surface? Was it an older cert?

I just got my bulk back and it was suprisingly fast. 2 orders done in 2 months. When I did a 10-day, it was considerably longer than 10 days. For starters they don’t count weekends, and once they receive your cards, that doesn’t mean the countdown begins. They can legit hold onto your cards for weeks before a “confirmation” step in which they agree that the cards you said you sent on the paperwork are indeed the cards they got from you. This lagtime for the “confirmation” step allows them to basically pull any number they want directly out of their ass. Regarding your context of an in-person dropoff, that may eliminate this “confirmation” step and really queue you right up for a very prompt turnaround! Give it a go and let us know what happens.

Youll be ok. Dont worry and give it a try

Why do they have such a long tat in general? Not hating but the volume seems way low to not be able to turnaround in under a month like SGC does

Probably staffing issues tbh

They’ve been grading quite quickly but shipping has taken a while

Maybe cutbacks on warehouse / shipping staff?

No idea.

My orders shipped today. Looks like beckett uses Fedex so hopefully I actually get the cards.

They use DHL for international orders. Fedex I guess domestic.

First of the two orders says it arrives tmw with Fedex. High anxiety. Fingers crossed.

Glad to see that, nice to hear some positive views, especially post corporate restructure

Nice, best of luck with the results!

Cards secured.
