Damn Proboards!
Please be careful when browsing UPCCC. Some of the adverts have exploits in them which can attempt to do nasty things to your computer.
I don’t want to scare people - this is a rare occurence but it can happen. Just like it can happen on any other ad-based site.
So to be safe:
- Use Firefox with adblocker, or similar software. IE9 has tracking protection and advanced filtering, and Chrome is pretty awesome so sure it has something too
- Ensure you have anti-virus software in place (including malware protection and firewalls)
- Contact us if it happens regularly so we can complain to Proboards
